DES PLAINES, ILL -- Contractors can earn dollars that turn into tools by participating in Chicago Faucets’ Gear Up! Program, which offers rewards for purchasing specified products from a local Chicago Faucets distributor.

“We’re excited about rewarding contractors for their loyalty to Chicago Faucets,” says John Fitzgerald, Director of Marketing at for the company. “Contractors accumulate cash-points between August 17 and November 30, 2009, and then turn those points into a gift certificate to Berland’s House of Tools.”

Qualifying Chicago Faucets’ products in the program include:
•    E-Tronic£ 40 Faucets – the company’s newest electronic lavatory faucet. Available in both AC and DC versions, the E-Tronic£ 40 incorporates advanced technology for dependability and convenience. With hermetically sealed, above-deck electronics for easy maintenance and long-term reliability, the E-Tronic£ 40 is a great new option for commercial lavatory applications.
•    420-CP Faucets – the company’s popular Deck Mounted - Single Control lavatory faucet with 4-5/8" C-C Integral Spout, a 1.5 GPM (5.7 L/min) Pressure Compensating Laminar Flow Outlet and metal lever handle.
•    Repair Parts – with the largest installed base of faucets in the country, CHICAGO FAUCETS offers support for its products through national distribution. Parts are readily available through the distribution channel for most of the company’s product line since it began in the commercial faucets market more than 100 years ago.
“We’re rewarding $5.00 for every E-Tronic£ 40 Faucet, $3.00 for every 420-CP Faucet, and $1.00 for every $25.00 in qualifying repair parts purchased,” says Fitzgerald. “Participants simply submit their invoices as proof of purchase and accumulate the cash. At the end of the program, they receive a gift card in the amount they have earned redeemable at Berland’s House of Tools.”

If a participant elects not to receive the awards directly, the participant can elect to donate the award to one of two organizations: Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, or Big Brothers Big Sisters, the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States.

“In either case, we’re rewarding the loyalty of our customers with the Gear Up! Program. CHICAGO FAUCETS has made and is making a commitment to quality backed by know-how and determination that is uniquely American. This program is simply an extension of that commitment.”

The program rewards buyers of eligible products purchased August 17-November 30, 2009. The deadline for submitting invoices is December 15, 2009. Complete details are available at: www.gearupwithchicago.com.
