CLEVELAND – BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems has announced a new online training program designed to provide installers with tips and guidelines regarding proper handling and installation techniques for CPVC fire sprinkler systems from FBC Building Solutions.  The interactive program allows viewers to proceed at their own pace and answer questions to help assure understanding of individual modules.  Participants can access the program through www.blazemastertraining.com 24 hours a day.

Topics include:  Listings and approvals for BlazeMaster CPVC fire sprinkler systems; chemical compatibility; industry best practices for handling and installing CPVC pipe; joining pipe and fittings; considerations for choosing stand-alone and multipurpose designs; and communications with other trades.  Upon successful completion of an online test, participants receive a Certificate of Completion and a installer training card.

“BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems has always emphasized the importance of proper training for installers,” said Matthew Kuwatch, global marketing manager for BlazeMaster Fire Sprinkler Systems.  “For more than a decade, we have set the standard in the industry with a comprehensive program that is valuable to new, as well as veteran installers.  This updated online program is just one more way we are providing easy access to the type of information that fire sprinkler system contractors need in the field.”

This online training program is not designed to replace on-the-job training provided by an authorized BlazeMaster field trainer.  While this program provides an overview of recommended handling and installation procedures, as well as a discussion of industry best practices, it does not offer the in-depth instruction or hands-on experience of an on-site program.  The company encourages online participants to schedule a follow-up, in-person training session that complements the information provided online. Successful completion of the training course does not imply compliance with any national or local regulations.
