American Residential Services L.L.C., a privately held, nationwide provider of plumbing and HVAC services, has acquired the “Will” Fix It brand, San Antonio, Texas, as part of the company’s stated strategy for continued growth through acquisitions.

ARS is the nation's third largest mechanical contractor in CONTRACTOR' annual Book of Giants with revenues of more than $690 million (May, p. 28).

“We have been looking at opportunities to expand our HVAC and plumbing offerings to better serve our customers throughout the San Antonio area,” said Will Hawkins, owner and founder of “Will” Fix it. “Our customers will continue to receive the same high-quality service that we have always provided under the ‘Will’ Fix It name. This agreement simply allows us to grow our services with the backing of a national company.”

“Will” Fix It has been a major provider of heating, cooling and plumbing services in San Antonio since 1994 and will retain its brand name, staff and operational structure while joining the ARS Network.

“We selected ‘Will’ Fix It to join the ARS Network of companies because its commitment to quality and exceptional service coincides with our strategic vision for growth nationwide,” said Dave Slott, president and chief operating officer of American Residential Services. “ARS is currently focused on growth through the addition of quality service providers such as ‘Will’ Fix It. Our expansion in San Antonio is also a reflection of our commitment to serve this growing market.”

ARS and Rescue Rooter are the two brands of American Residential Services, providing heating, cooling, plumbing and drain cleaning services. With a network of 57 company operated service locations in 24 states and the District of Columbia, the two brands serve residential and light commercial customers. Memphis, Tenn.-based, ARS has approximately 3,500 employees.

ARS is owned by Caxton-Iseman Capital Inc., Royal Palm Capital Partners Inc., and management. Additional information is available at http://www.ars.com or http://www.rescuerooter.com.
