PORTSMOUTH, N.H.Anvil Intl., a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products Inc., received ISO-9001: 2008 certification at its manufacturing facility in Columbia, Pa., and at the Anvil Research and Development Center in Smithfield, R.I., for its grooved products.

ISO-9001: 2008 is an international standard, confirming companies have established and maintained a uniform quality management system to better meet the needs of their customers. The ISO-9001: 2008 certification status provides Anvil’s customers with assurance that its grooved products are created by processes enhanced with continuous quality improvements and supported by a commitment to customer satisfaction.

“As the world’s leading fitting manufacturer, we are always pushing the bar to raise the quality of our products and the level of customer satisfaction,” said Joe Radzik, Anvil’s vice president of research and development. “It gives our customers tangible proof of our efforts on their behalf and underscores the value of our grooved products.”

“In the current global economy, the ability to purchase products and conduct business with confidence is critical,” said Tom Fish, president of Anvil Intl. “We pursued certification to make Anvil our customers’ easy ‘go-to’ source and cements our shared commitment to excellence today and in the future.”
