American Air Distributing Inc. becomes newest Johnson Controls distributor

CHESTER, PA. — American Air Distributing Inc. recently announced that it is has signed an agreement with Johnson Controls Inc. to become a distributor of its Coleman and Luxaire brand products effective Jan. 1, 2010.

"Innovation and product leadership became two of the major reasons we made this transition," said Bob Frank, president of American Air Distributing Inc. "The industry is rapidly changing. As a distributor, it’s important to recognize which manufacturers offer products for the future. When we looked at all the innovations that the Coleman and Luxaire brands offer and the weight and influence that Johnson Controls brings to promoting those brands, it was clear that we found a manufacturer with a vision that exceeded our expectations."

“American Air enjoys a great reputation for customer service and we are proud to welcome them into our family of distribution,” said Gary Mummert, regional sales manager for Johnson Controls. “Their business model complements our market share growth and customer service initiatives. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship together.”

American Air, located in a suburb of Philadelphia, services contractors in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland, serving 33 counties and covering a radius of more than 100 miles.
