Portsmouth, N.H. — Anvil Intl., a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products Inc., announced two facility relocations: one of its four regional service centers will relocate from Grand Prairie, Texas, to Irving, Texas, and a distribution facility located in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., will relocate to Ontario, Calif. Both facilities will be fully operational in April 2009.

The new Irving Regional Service Center is more than 200,000-sq.ft. and combines warehouse, operations and sales under one roof. The facility also includes a 2,500-sq.ft. training facility. The facility includes a warehouse management system that utilizes bar-coding on all Anvil products, ensuring order accuracy and on-time shipments.

The Santa Fe Springs distribution facility shares space with the James Jones Co., a Mueller Co. business. The facility will stock inventory for both mechanical/industrial and fire protection distributors and customers.
