Gowan provides infrastructure

Houston — EMCOR Group Inc. announced that its Gowan Inc. subsidiary will design and install the mechanical infrastructure for The Westin Convention Center Hotel in Houston.

Gowan will use state-of-the-art 3D modeling to help optimize the effective design and installation of HVAC and plumbing systems throughout the 425,000-sq.ft. space of The Westin Convention Center Hotel, which consists of 27 floors, including 269 hotel rooms, 65 private condos and 5 floors of meeting rooms.

“We are very pleased we have been chosen to work on The Westin Convention Center Hotel,” said Mark Froman, president and chief executive officer of Gowan. “We look forward to providing the high-quality facilities that will ensure that Westin guests experience the high standard of service for which the brand is so well known.”
