TACO ENTERS INTO ENDORSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH PGA GOLFER AND RI NATIVE BRAD ADAMONIS
Cranston, RI, March 24, 2008 – Taco, Inc. has signed an endorsement agreement with Rhode Island native and aspiring PGA golf professional Brad Adamonis. The endorsement agreement provides financial support from Taco for Adamonis as he pursues his career in the PGA.
Adamonis, from Cumberland, RI, earned his PGA Tour card this year and has made six cuts in his first eight PGA tournaments. He will wear the Taco logo on his visor throughout the 2008 PGA Tour season.
Adamonis comes from a family steeped in golf: his grandfather taught him the game; his father, Dave Adamonis, is the golf coach at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL, and his brother, also named Dave, oversees the Junior Golf Organization’s U.S. Challenge Cup.
Taco’s president and CEO, John Hazen White, Jr., praised Adamonis “as a local kid who’s worked really hard to earn the privilege to play on the PGA Tour. Now that he’s earned his place we want to help him further his career. Taco supports and applauds people who work hard, and we’re honored to be associated with Brad. We wish him great success.”
Taco, Inc., headquartered in Cranston, RI, is a leading manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment for use in hydronic-based systems worldwide.
