TOLEDO, OH – Erik Dunbar has been named Director of Construction Operations for Dunbar Mechanical. In this role he will oversee day-to-day operations, technology implementation and quality control procedures for this ISO 9001:2008 certified firm.
After practicing law as a trial attorney in Cleveland, Ohio, Erik joined Dunbar Mechanical in 2007 as General Counsel for the firm and serves on Dunbar’s seven-member Management Team. He has been responsible for contract management, the energy services division, and informational technologies services for the firm. Erik recently managed the selection and implementation of Dunbar’s new business management system, integrating the company’s extensive project management processes into this advanced software-based system. Always maintaining a connection with the family business, Erik worked as an intern during his college years and in the warehouse during high school. Erik earned his Doctor of Law (J.D.) at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Purdue University and is a graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School.
