The Pennsylvania Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association (PPMCSA) and the Empire State Petroleum Association (ESPA) Convention, Annual Meeting & Trade Show will be held from October 1-3, 2012 at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA.
This year's exciting event will include influential speakers, educational opportunities, a golf tournament, and more! PPMCSA and ESPA invite you to join them as an attendee or exhibitor.
The Convention will feature a lineup of notable speakers, including Mike Ditka, ESPN commentator and analyst, and Ben Brockwell, OPIS Director of Data, Pricing & Information Services. Mr. Ditka will speak at the President’s Banquet on Tuesday, October 2. In his presentation, "ACE" - Attitude, Character and Enthusiasm, he shares the lessons learned in a life of commitment and attention to the fundamentals – resulting in victory. He delivers a powerful presentation that highlights the key characteristics people need to achieve their personal and professional goals. Mr. Brockwell will be the lead speaker the morning of the Trade Show opening. He'll discuss the new age for oil and what it means for us. Mr. Brockwell is considered the foremost expert on petroleum prices and benchmarking. One of the founders of OPIS, he's often called upon to explain market conditions at top industry meetings.
Petroleum Products Corporation (PPC), a premier terminal operator in Pennsylvania, will be presenting its Annual Briefing to its customers (and other attendees) immediately prior to the opening of the Trade Show on Tuesday, October 2. John Arnold will speak about Petroleum Products Corporation and the Future. Tom Carper will discuss Diesel Fuel and Biodiesel Quality & Performance Issues and Geoff Bohlender will speak about Understanding the DEF Market - Opportunities and Pitfalls. The 2012 Golf Tournament will take place at the beginning of the Convention on Monday, October 1 at the Hershey Country Club's East Course. There will also be a President’s Reception and Banquet on Tuesday evening. The PPMCSA Breakfast on Wednesday morning will feature a panel with John Kulik (PPMCSA), Tom Peters (ESPA), Dan Gilligan (PMAA President), and Robert S. Bassman, (Managing Partner, Bassman Mitchell & Alfano, Chtd.) discussing state and federal issues impacting marketers.
