The 2014 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show will be held this Feb. 4-6th at the Las Vegas Convention center — and this year promises to be special. Early in 2013, the National Kitchen & Bath Association and the National Association of Home Builders announced an agreement to co-locate KBIS with the International Builders’ Show under the banner of Design & Construction Week.
The result is a new mega-event with each show occupying a separate hall. A confirmed KBIS registration includes admittance to both shows for all three days. The current exhibitor list includes 452 companies. (The 2013 show had 21,520 professional registrations and 13,030 industry buyers and specifiers.)
Throughout the show, CONTRACTOR will be offering our readers up-to-the-minute coverage. Along with regular postings to contractormag.com, we’ve created a specialized Kitchen & Bath Industry Show Page that collects product galleries, the latest announcements and much more all in one place, and all optimized for use on your desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. Bookmark it now for use as a guide and reference.
Follow Bob Mader and Candace Roulo of CONTRACTOR’s editorial team via Twitter during the show. Look for our show hashtag #KBIS2014CTR. We'll be live-tweeting the show and sending out Twitpics of all of the products that we're seeing. We'll also have a live Tweetup on Wednesday at noon Pacific time. We'll recap the highlights of the show and we invite you to participate and tell us what interested you. You can join in the conversation in our comments section, via our scheduled Tweetup, or just drop by booth #N1619 to see us in-person. During the show, look for the products we've photographed in a gallery in our Kitchen & Bath Industry Show Page on contractormag.com. Afterwards look for complete show wrap-up in the print edition of CONTRACTOR Magazine.
This year’s KBIS promises to be a banner opportunity to view the latest innovations the industry has to offer, as well as network, socialize and learn. 85 Voices from the Industry sessions will be offered, of which 54 will offer continuing education units. 12 NKBA Courses will be offered both before and during the show offering CEUs and NKBA education hours. Three keynote speakers — one for each day — will focus on important business-related topics.
Keep watching our events page for the latest developments, and have a great time at the show!
