There’s a growing concern for the amount of usable water we have in the U.S. and our clean supply seems to be dwindling each year. Many states, companies and households are taking measures to reduce their use of water. For example, California is currently in the midst of a long-running drought, causing residents and groups across the state to look for ways to conserve water.

Klaus Reichardt, CEO and founder of Waterless, said that with this concern about the clean, usable water we have left in the world, it is important for people to educate themselves about water.

“The more we know about water consumption, the more likely we are to use this natural resource more responsibly,” he said on the company’s blog.

Waterless featured a post with some great facts about water. We compiled these facts, as well as a few others, to help our readers learn a bit more about water, its current state and how we use it in the world.
