San Diego — McKinstry recently announced the selection of Tom Bowen to lead the establishment of its new Western regional headquarters, located here, and direct its Energy and Facility Services operations.

Bowen, former vice president of Sempra Energy Services in North America, is in charge of helping McKinstry grow its California client base while offering a comprehensive suite of energy-related solutions.

Joining Bowen is Michael Moriarty, former director of project delivery for Sempra. Moriarty's project development and implementation experience provides McKinstry with a strong leadership foundation to guide the expansion.

Bowen and Moriarty plan to expand further into Arizona and Nevada, servicing clients with sustainability programs that have come to characterize McKinstry.

In 2008, President Barack Obama brought McKinstry into the spotlight by citing the company as a “Model for the Nation.” With Bowen and Moriarty as part of the leadership team, McKinstry will continue to solidify its position as a leader in energy efficiency and sustainable design/build services.
