The Moran Group sells Fire Protection Industries – Sentinel Services

NORTHBROOK, IL. —  The Moran Group has to announced the sale of Fire Protection Industries (FPI) service and inspection business to Wayman Fire Protection (Wayman). FPI was founded in 1969 in Philadelphia, and had grown to serve the fire protection market in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Fire Protection Industries joined The Moran Group of companies in 1993. Sentinel Sprinkler was merged into Fire Protection Industries (FPI) in 1995, expanding the company's capabilities in the aftercare of existing facilities. FPI’s long-standing history of quality fire protection service will now be incorporated into Wayman’s mission to provide quality service and products in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Moran Group will continue to expand its fire protection business through F.E. Moran Fire Protection Northern Illinois, F.E. Fire Protection National and F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems. The Moran Group will complete active FPI construction contacts with the same level of commitment and quality FPI was known for over the years. A team of FPI employees operating as F.E. Moran Fire Protection East Coast, supported by F.E. Moran Fire Protection National, will complete ongoing construction work over the next few months.

Wayman Fire Protection was established in 1974, and has upheld their mission to learn what customers need and meet or exceed those needs with quality service and products. From installation and design to post-project inspection and maintenance, Wayman Fire Protection cares for properties from beginning to end.
