Effikal recall notice

Field Controls Co. is  recalling and replacing affected Effikal vent dampers installed since 2007 on select gas boilers. The company is asking service technicians to inspect all Effikal vent dampers installed on boilers from the manufacturers listed on the chart below.

If the serial number or date code of the vent damper is listed in this table, the company will pay service technicians $125 ($100 for labor, $25 for part reimbursement) for each damper replaced. A payment form and complete instructions are included with the replacement part and are available on on the company's website at www.effikal.com/contractor/
