MILWAUKEE — Amen to Dave Yates' writing about bottled water ("Want liquid gold? Turn on your tap,")!

We live east of 124th Street in West Allis, Wis., a western suburb of Milwaukee. We get our water from Lake Michigan. The people who live west of 124th Street get their water from wells, which are fed from the Mississippi River.

My wife won't even think of moving any farther west of 123rd Street (county line)! When my kids open bottled water and don't finish it, I pour the remainder in our dog's water bowl!
