Atlanta — ISH North America, through its industry association partnerships, will add a wide range of educational and networking opportunities to the upcoming event this fall.

By partnering with four trade associations to run concurrent events, industry professionals will have the opportunity to increase their contacts, build sales and learn about the latest industry happenings in Atlanta.

The trade show will run concurrently with Network ‘08, the annual convention for the American Supply Association and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association, as well as the annual convention for the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, and the Maple Leaf Reception produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating.

ISH-NA, the international trade show for Plumbing, Commercial/Industrial Pipes, Valves & Fittings, HVAC, and Kitchen & Bath, will be held Oct. 1-3, 2008, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

PHCC-NA is made up of nearly 4,000 contracting firms from open and union shops who work in residential, commercial, new construction, industrial and service and repair segments of the industry. PHCC members have their own national lobbyist on Capitol Hill and with federal agencies. It also has discounted access to seminars, national gatherings, learning resources and business services designed to take members' businesses to the next level.

The American Supply Association is a non-profit national organization serving the plumbing, heating, cooling and piping and industrial PVF industries. Since 1969, ASA has provided the forum for PHCP and PVF wholesale distributors and vendors from around the country to discuss issues facing them.

Together, ASA and PHCC will bring their annual conference Network ‘08 to ISH North America 2008. Events will include committee meetings, director meetings, educational seminars and networking events for association members and ISH participants. From “Kohler Night,” the Bradford-White Breakfast and the PHCC Awards Luncheon sponsored by In-Sink-Erator.

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is a non-profit, mutual benefit corporation with its world headquarters in Ontario, Calif. With members around the world, IAPMO strives to protect the health and safety of society through sound plumbing and mechanical practices.

IAPMO has served the plumbing and mechanical industry since 1926 through the development and maintenance of the Uniform Plumbing Code and the Uniform Mechanical Code. IAPMO offers continuing education to apprentices, journeymen, inspectors and other users and enforcers of these international safety standards. The UPC has been used as the base for the plumbing code in so many nations that it is now believed at least one-half of the world's population is protected in some manner by its provisions.

IAPMO will be holding its 2008 annual convention in Atlanta during the ISH North America event. IAPMO events include the technical committee meeting where members have a final opportunity to voice their opinion on the language which will be published in the 2009 UPC and UMC, keynote session, development session for the Solar Energy Code and the Swimming Pool, Spas and Hot Tubs Code, educational tracks and networking events.
