Plumbing contractors: What is your favorite tool?

I bet you have a favorite tool in your tool box, and I want to know what it is! So, I’m starting a photo gallery of our readers’ favorite tools.

To be included in this photo gallery, please send me a picture of yourself with your favorite tool, and a few sentences explaining why it is your favorite tool.

Every year, CONTRACTOR surveys readers to find out what are the most used corded and cordless power tools amongst plumbing contractors today, along with identifying types of construction involvement, assessing annual spending on power tools, and finding out where contractors prefer to purchase those tools.

Besides having a most used tool, I bet you have a favorite tool in your tool box, and I want to know what it is! So, I’m starting a photo gallery of our readers’ favorite tools.

To be included in this photo gallery, please send me a picture of yourself with your favorite tool, and a few sentences explaining why it is your favorite tool. Please e-mail me the photo and description to candace.roulo@penton.com. I will then upload it to the website.

I would also like to introduce our readers to Contractor’s Workplace Learning Center. Want to learn more about solar thermal and the solar industry? Then the book Solar Hot Water Fundamentals is for you! Want to learn about hydronic controls? Then check out the book Quick & Basic Hydronic Controls: A Contractor's Easy Guide to Hydronic Controls, Wiring, and Wiring Diagrams by Carol Fey. Or maybe you want to brush up on your customer service skills. Then Steve Coscia’s books would be right up your alley. Keep checking back to see what new products we have added to the Workplace Learning Center.

I look foward to hearing from you and finding out what is your favorite tool!
