For six years running, this popular 48-page magazine has honored the state’s most beloved workplaces based on surveys completed by the people who know them the best — the employees themselves.

The Boston Globe’s 2013 Top Places to Work survey, conducted by employee survey firm WorkplaceDynamics, measured more than 76,000 individuals’ responses to statements regarding six key factors related to employee happiness, including company direction, execution, employee connection, work load and responsibility, management, and pay and benefits. In addition to the rankings, the magazine highlights creative corporate perks including company kayak breaks, fresh salads from an office garden and free rock gym memberships, among others.
