NORTHBROOK, IL — MCAA has presented F.E. Moran a Safety Award for their 2013 safety statistics. In their three categories - fatalities, OSHA Recordable Incidence Rates, and Lost Workday Cases Incidence Rates - F.E. Moran’s statistics were far below the averages, scoring 0 in two of the categories.
The MCAA awards companies in the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, and mechanical services industry for above average safety statistics. They began this program to encourage a safer working environment. The five categories included in this award program are 100,000 work hours or less; 100,001-250,000 work hours; 250,001-400,000 work hours; 400,001-1,000,000 work hours; and 1,000,001+ work hours. F.E. Moran was awarded in the 100,001-250,000 category.
