Eggrock, a leading U.S. maker of pre-built bathrooms for the hotel and multi-unit residential construction markets, announced that it has opened its new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Littleton, Mass.

“Eggrock is experiencing increased market acceptance for its pre-built bathroom technology and this investment will ensure we can continue to keep pace with demand,” said Jeff Barrett, president and CEO. “In addition, our new location allows us ideal access to exceptional manufacturing, engineering and managerial talent we need to take our business to the next level.”

“Over the past two years, Eggrock has developed a proprietary manufacturing process, which leverages both automation and lean manufacturing concepts,” said Bill Seery, vice president/operations. “Our new plant allows us to expand this program to multiple, high-volume manufacturing lines.”

Building each hotel bathroom at the construction site requires at least eight different specialty trades to complete, all within a small space, the company said. Eggrock bathrooms are built in a manufacturing facility and delivered to the site complete with finished floor and wall tiles, paint, wallpaper, plumbing fixtures, lighting and electrical outlets all in place. Even the towel bars and paper holders are installed. Installation takes about two hours of hook-up time, according to the company.

Eggrock produces customized, ready-to-install bathrooms for the multi-unit residential market. Eggrock said its bathrooms reduce construction time and costs while improving quality in a room that is critical to multi-unit construction.
