John Smith, “The Arizona Green Plumber,” is the three-time recipient of the Green Plumber of the Year award from Green Plumbers USA, and was recognized as the 2011 Contractor of the Year by CONTRACTOR magazine. John’s quest to elevate the image of the everyday service contractor from being the subject of crude jokes to being recognized and respected as knowledgeable and leading-edge members of the community inspired him to write his book “Plunging Into Green- One Plumber’s Journey to Becoming a Water Hugger.” John is the creator and director of Green Ideas Marketing and Consulting.
