WASHINGTON, DC — The International Code Council’s Building Safety Month campaign enters its second week with an emphasis on the importance of building safety preparedness on protecting homes and communities from flooding, earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires and more. Preparing and planning for such disasters can significantly mitigate building damage and help create resilient communities around the world.
Week Two: Preparing a Building Safety Plan focuses on best practices to prepare homes and buildings for disasters. Learn essential insights about fire and water safety measures, optimal home maintenance strategies, disaster readiness protocols and effective strategies for mitigating damage caused by natural disasters. Explore sustainable practices aimed at fostering a cleaner, greener future for all.
